The choices actually will divert you to different sets of puzzles within the same space – from our understanding, it’s possible to play the room twice and get a completely different set of main puzzles in the game. The actor was a key part of the immersion, and the choices you may make involving the actor will affect the story in different ways.Īdditionally, this room involves choices and achievements. The first feature was the heavy involvement of the gamemaster-as actor. It also helps to keep the key in the lock and with the box it came in to keep things organized.Heresy: 1897 was a theatrical, immersive experience with some novel features that pushed the envelope of an escape room. It’s rare that keys or items will be used more than once. Although a lot of rooms have red herrings (misdirects), most things are in the room for a reason.
